Heuristic Evaluation for Accenture’s Award-Winning VR Learning Game
Heuristic Evaluation for Accenture’s Award-Winning VR Learning Game
To help redefine how Accenture welcomes over 100,000 new employees each year across 32 global geographies, I led the UX design for One Accenture Park—a brand-new VR learning game that introduces new joiners to the company’s culture, values, and services through immersive storytelling. The experience went on to receive industry recognition post-launch.
As the sole UX designer on the project, I conducted a formal heuristic evaluation using a severity scoring system to measure usability issues against established principles. This approach surfaced critical interaction pain points, accessibility gaps, and areas for improvement unique to a VR environment.
What follows is a closer look at that evaluation and design process—along with key insights and recommendations that helped bring this award-winning onboarding experience to life.
